It’s a major move for everyone, even your parents, to leave the family home.
By creating the same cosy atmosphere you’re used to, but in your own space
that you’ll share with housemates, we’ll make the transition smoother.

From helping you clean to offering advice on how to prepare the delectable
foods you enjoy, our compassionate and dedicated crew is here to serve you. Additionally, you’ll be able to bring your furniture with you, including your bed,
and furnish your bedroom with pictures, posters, and potted plants to make
it feel more like home

What Is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is the ongoing assistance you require to maintain as much independence as you can.

You have support staff to help you with daily duties around the house if you receive SIL funding. Support with personal care and chore management fall under this category. Taking a shower, getting dressed, cooking, eating, cleaning, and shopping are a few examples.

Additionally, our SIL staff works closely with you to improve your independence and daily life abilities. SIL supports are available to residents of Specialist Disability Accommodations (SDA).

People who require specialised housing solutions can receive SDA money from the NDIS. These persons must meet particular qualifying requirements and have very high assistance needs to live in SDA homes, which are adapted or specially built to make them more accessible.

The coast of the house or building you live in is covered by SDA money. For the most part, living in SDA will still need you to pay rent or other personal expenses.
